New MotoCMS Version 1.8 with Mobile Editor

For a long time MotoCMS was trying to create Flash templates whichcan be displayed on common computers as well as mobile devices. Everybody knows that Flash doesn't make friends with iPhones, iPads, Androids, etc. But from now on, that's done with this sad tradition. Within this major update MotoCMS is glad to present you the advanced Mobile Editor.

Here you'll find several facts about this new feature which you probably will be interested in.

• There is the “Switch to Mobile Editor” button created at the top of the control panel. It switches the common Flash template's control panel to its HTML version.
• By default every MotoCMS-based Flash template includes a mobile-friendly HTML template with one page and one pop-up. Instead of the standard version of MotoCMS this template is 620px wide.  Every Moto Flash CMS user can get this HTML template  after updating his control panel up to this latest version.
• The mobile-friendly template includes several widgets: Contact Form, Gallery widget, HTML widget, Rich Content widget, Google Maps widget, Horizontal and Vertical Menus.
• The mobile version of the control panel allows to edit website and control panel preferences (choose the website title, select any page as a the home page, set width and height, choose website's and page's preloader and specify the background), access Media Library and Font Manager, protect pages with a password, enable or disable the “Under Construction” mode.
• The new Block object has been added. It allows to apply animation effects to all elements you place in this holder.
• Within this mobile editor it's possible to set the style for any abject (type, color, background image, stroke parameters).
• The mobile version of the template will be available only after you mark the “Redirect mobile devices to alternate version of site” option. Thus you can enable or disable users with mobile devices to see your website.

Another feature which will probably please MotoCMS users is the “My Account” tab. This option allows to go to your CMS User Account right from the MotoCMS or MotoCMS Mobile control panels.
