Hippo, the company setting new standards for how Open Source Web Content Management can empower audiences and change the way organizations manage Web content is proud to announce that AutomatiseringGids.nl – an online publication for IT professionals is utilizing Hippo CMS for their new site.
The new website was designed and implemented by Dayon a company that designs, builds and manages content-driven online and mobile applications.
The new website is powered by the latest version of Hippo CMS and utilizes an innovative “Liquid Design” architecture which enables the site to conform and change to support any given device or browser. The site automatically adjusts based on screen size, device or other capabilities to give the user the best experience possible.
Additionally, the new website has been fully optimized for Search Engines – giving authors and editors full control over meta data and other elements to help the site rank higher in search engines. As Ted den Bieman, online publisher for "Automatiseringsgids.nl" said, “with this site, we took a big step. In addition to a major improvement in usability and an optimum mix of paid and free content – we now have a sleek design and good technical performance.”
Michele de Ru, commercial manager for Dayon concurred with the power of the new technology. “All of the partners (Sdu, Hippo and Dayon) are complementary to each other,” said de Ru. “This means that the whole is greater than the sum of its part. The site is fast, and the fact that it will work on any device and any screen size is something of which I’m extremely proud.”
“For an online IT magazine, innovation is crucial to guide their overall brand,” said Tjeerd Brenninkmeijer, Chief Commercial Officer for Hippo. “The migration from an unstable and complex environment to Hippo CMS has resulted in a scalable and extensible web site with a focus on performance.”
