Summer Schedule
For the rest of this summer I will be turning it down a notch on the number of posts that are placed on the "front page" here at CMSReport.com. You shouldn't notice a difference in quality, but I suspect some of you may miss the quantity of new posts. While we do schedule the time for when a post or excerpt is placed on the front page, by choice we do no automation when it comes to the placement of excerpts on the front pages. In other words, for an article to make the front page...I need to be sitting at the computer and that's not going to happen as often during the summer months.
If you really want to help, create an account today and start contributing your own CMS stories here at this site. Even suggestions for links to other articles is appreciated. My ultimate goal for this site is to see guest bloggers offering some differing perspectives from my own to the mix. Finally, don't worry, I'm too addicted to CMS to not say something about it for very long. I also have a lengthy professional report on IT user support that I plan to deliver under several posts. This report will be similar but better to the research paper I posted earlier this year. This is going to be a great summer!
About the CMS Enthusiast
Bryan Ruby is the owner and editor for CMS Report. He founded CMSReport.com in 2006 on the belief that information technologists, website owners, and web developers desired visiting sites where they could learn more about content management systems without the sales pitch. Although Bryan has been active in the content management community for a number of years, please do not call him a CMS expert. Bryan's preference is to be labeled a CMS enthusiast.
Outside of his late night blogging hours, he is the Information Technology Officer for a field office in the federal government. Away from the computer he enjoys his family, bicycling, camping, and the outdoors.
