Thanks, just what I needed as I'm installing Ubuntu for the very first time. Though the latest FC really is slick too.

As a long time Redhat/FC user as well as SuSE user, I wouldn't mind seeing a Ubuntu/FC comparison out there.  Of course, I'm working on doing my first Ubuntu install too.  Which is why I came across the above article to post in the first place.  :-) .
