The World's Biggest Soccer Teams

This year's Money League report from Deloitte on the world's 20 biggest soccer teams (see full report below) shows aggregate revenue of 4.4 billion Euro ($6.3 billion)  during the 2010-11 season, 3% more than the previous year. The five teams with the most revenue were Real Madrid ($695 million), FC Barcelona ($653 million), Manchester United ($532 million), Bayern Munich ($466 million) and Arsenal ($364 million).

Oracle buying Taleo for US$1.9 billion in direct hit at SAP

Oracle is buying cloud-based talent management and employee recruitment software vendor Taleo for roughly US$1.9 billion, the company announced Thursday. The move comes shortly after SAP's move to acquire SuccessFactors, a close competitor of Taleo, for US$3.4 billion in a deal that has yet to close.

Briefly, Amazon and Viacom have inked a licensing agreement that will make thousands of new titles, including The Hills, Jersey Shore, The Hard Times of RJ Berger, The Real World, Dora the Explorer, SpongeBob SquarePants, Yo Gabba Gabba and Hot in Cleveland available to Prime customers.
