Spring Forward with these CMS Report Sponsors

CMS Report may not be the biggest site in town delivering you content management system news. We may also not have the biggest staff around for supporting niche sites like ours. But what we do have is heart, persistence, and passion for some of your favorite CMSs and an understanding that software alone doesn't make for better information systems. However we stumbled upon our success in this business we conclude each day with being grateful for the readers that follow us and the sponsors that support us.

CMS Report provides great content on a wide variety of content management related topics. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, you can purchase banner space at this site through BuySellAds. For those times that we have sold out on our banner space, BuySellAds does offer sponsors the ability to put themselves on a waiting list to advertise on our site when space becomes available. Sponsorship helps CMSReport.com pay for the bills we receive from our hosting company and internet service provider. Sponsorship also funds the purchase of any software or hardware needed to support this site. Without sponsorship, niche sites like this one simply wouldn't be able to host the content we do debt free.

Content Management Fans Will Want To Watch CMS-Connected

There is a a new show in town and that show is called CMS-Connected. CMS-Connected is a monthly news show, streamed live on the TPN Network and primarily focused on the content management industry. This show is so impressive that when Gary Eisenstein, Founder of CMS Connected, asked me if CMS Report would help sponsor the show I didn't hesitate in saying yes.

Latest News, Products, Review & Guest Interviews - CMS Connected

CMS-Connected showcases the top products and platforms on the content management market, latest technologies, innovations, mergers and acquisitions, and CMS related news. Last month, I joked about my 1.5 seconds of fame on the last show but in actuality the entire show is "must-see".

What I like most about CMS-Connected is that it is a chance for us to meet the people behind the products and the analysis. You'll hear plenty of commentary from leading CMS experts, analysts and participating guests. Many of these hosts and guests for this show are friends in the industry we have all gotten to know or should know. Twitter and social media is fine for discussing content management...but this show makes the conversation so much more personal.

CMS Expo 2012 coming to Chicago this May

On May 8th, 9th, and 10th, you and I have the opportunity to attend 2012 CMS Expo which is held once a year in Chicago. This event is billed as as CMS "Learning & Business" conference showcasing some of the world's leading Content Management Systems and the people who power them. Whether the CMSs featured are proprietary or open source, focused on small business or enterprise, non-profit, government or commercial applications, there’s something for everyone at CMS Expo.

Last year, CMS Report attended the conference for the first time and we were literally blown away with the diversity of people attending the conference. Lots of people like to focus on the software and design (and that's fine), but for me content management is also about people. CMS Expo has historically been the place for CMS leaders, CMS developers, site users, and business owners to meet all under one roof. CMS Expo offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to learn about today's leading CMSs, and get to the truth about what works, from both a vendor and a user perspective.

2012 CMS Expo Learning and Business ConferenceThere are over a dozen content management systems that will be showcased at CMS Expo. The CMSs that we are aware of include; Joomla!, Drupal, DotNetNuke, Mura, MODX, TYPO3, Sitefinity, Wondercode, Hannon Hill (Cascade Server), Liferay, Pyro, Movable Type, and Cloud CMS. We're telling you this is the conference not only to learn more about your favorite CMS but also to possibly discover your next CMS that is right for your business.

If you plan to attend, do not forget to register for CMS Expo 2012. Registration grants you FULL ACCESS to all sessions, panels, keynotes and expo hall, so you won't miss a thing. Your ticket also includes breakfast & lunch each day, plus "endless" coffee (or tea), snacks and more, plus entry to all business & social networking events.

As with last year, CMS Report is a proud media sponsor for the 2012 CMS Expo Learning & Business Conference.

Nothing spooky about these sponsors

While this is the time for trick-or-treat, most businesses and web developers I know don't want to be distracted by those knocking at their door that may or may not the real deal. This is one of the reasons I've always been selective on which companies I allow to become sponsors here at CMS Report. For Halloween, I'll allow my son to dress up as Darth Maul, but if you're selling me products you better be dressed up in quality services and quality products.

Our sponsors are the visitor at your door, ready to have a serious adult conversation about meeting your content management needs. Acquia, Sitecore, Contegro, Accrisoft, Jahia, Contensis, JomSocial, Sourcecoast, Stackideas, and Telerik...all amazing companies that I think you should take a look at.

Acquia, Sitecore, Contegro, Jahia, Contensis, Sourcecoast, Stackideas...you are all amazing companies to sponsor us during the month of August. CMS Report is going to turn it up a few notches in the weeks ahead and whether you're a reader or a sponsor...I think you're going to really like the changes that are about to take place here at this site.

A big thanks to CMS Report's Sponsors

CMS Report continues to provide what we think is great content on a wide variety of content management topics. Historically, we've had a very low turnover rate with our sponsors and we appreciate their loyalty here at CMSReport.com. Sponsorship helps us pay the bills we receive from our host provider and internet service provider. Sponsorship also funds the purchase of any software or hardware needed to support this site.

If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, you can purchase banner space for this site through BuySellAds and Google. This past week we introduced a new 300x250 Medium Rectangle spot and once it is sold we'll make sure it is placed on almost every page of our site. For the periods of time that we have sold out our banner space, BuySellAds does offer sponsors the ability to put themselves on a waiting list to advertise on our site.

You  will want to note that we're in the middle of upgrading our site and trying out a new layout. We recognize that sponsors do not always like to see such fluid changes when advertising on sites. However, if you're a sponsor looking for an audience that does like to see their content management systems evolve and willing to try out new products then you came to the right place. While our audience may be small (40,000 impressions) our CPC is high (0.45) which helps you know that the content management crowd visits here often.

CMS Report wants to thank our current sponsors for their support.
