FlashMoto, a provider of the feature-rich and SEO-friendly Flash content management system, is changing its name to MotoCMS.com. The rebrending is caused by the necessity to change the company name and URL in order not to violate the law, as the term ‘Flash’ is a registered trademark of Adobe Company.

On September 29th, FlashMoto.com changed its name to MotoCMS.com. The new name no longer contains the word ‘Flash’, and at the same time it is still familiar to everybody. It opens new horizons for the company, though quite a lot has already been achieved. MotoCMS was founded by Demetrio Fortman, a web professional and Flash developer by experience, in 2008 and launched in Open Beta in August 2009. A month later the team launched the collection of ready-made Flash CMS templates, designed especially for Moto CMS.

In November 2009 the standalone version of Flash CMS was released. One of the really important events was the lanch of multilingual control panel (15 languages). The year 2010 is also full of events: the release of a new version 1.2, the launch of the new components - Flash video gallery and Flash Flip Book.

But the company doesn't rest on its laurels and has already launched Moto CMS v. 1.3 with the improved Media Library and an advanced Image Editor.
