FusionLeaf CMS Publicly Available

FusionLeaf CMS is an open source content management system written in PHP. Geared more for developers, the CMS includes all the tools necessary to take control of your website.

Setup

It's very easy to setup on both Windows and Linux. FusionLeaf Stack is a Windows web stack which includes preconfigured versions of PHP, MySQL, Nginx, and Memcached. Just download, extract, and run! On Linux, you can run a script to install the same software as listed above so the server will be ready to go in no time.

Interface

It's built with the styling components of Boostrap, from Twitter. The familiar interface is the same one used on the popular Twitter social networking website. The framework is completely responsive to screen sizes so you can build one website on a computer screen that views very well on tablets and mobile devices.

Language

It's built using PHP as the server-side language with HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS as the client-side languages. It includes PHP methods to utilize built-in notifications, simply database interactions, and validate security levels.

Configurability

It includes a Code Editor which can be used to edit every web page or add a new web page. The newest feature is the Dynamic Page Editor which provides tool to build a web page without knowing a programming language. It supports importing and exporting web pages to ease web design.

Search Engine Optimization

It's built with SEO best practices. The Code Editor provides an easy way to change the title, description, and keywords for any page. Enhance your web reporting by adding your Google Analytics tracking code so it is applied to every page.

Security

It's designed to prevent SQL injection attacks, password brute force attacks, and session hijacking. Authentication is managed through user accounts while authorization and access control are managed through security groups and access lists.

Disaster Recovery

It supports backup and restore with a single click. Backups are saved remotely via email. Restores can be used to easily move website content from development to production with limited downtime.

Usability

It's very lightweight so any component can be modified to meet your requirements. It also includes powerful tools like search/replace which can be used on both the files and database. It also includes a Code Editor, Database Manager, File Organizer, Session Viewer, Theme Selector, Menu Builder, and Sitemap Generator so you can control every piece of your website.

Logging

It includes easily changeable settings which enable the logging of over 150 different aspects including invalid logon attempts, database queries, and host software upgrades affecting the web components. Verbose error logging is also built in so any problems with the website are logged and can be corrected instantly. Notifications are also available so Administrators know when a certain type of event occurs like invalid logins.

Future

FusionLeaf is under constant development and uses Google Code to track user submitted issues and feature requests.
