After over 20 years of key influence over content management industry’s transformation, Piyush joins visionary vendor to drive accelerated growth
Jahia, a leading open source User Experience Platform (UXP) vendor, announced today that Piyush Patel, joins Jahia CEO Elie Auvray and COO Emmanuel Garcin in the Executive Leadership team of the company as Executive Vice President of Strategic Alliances & General Manager Americas.
According to Elie Auvray, “Piyush shares our vision and will be key to bringing onboard technologies that Jahia needs to integrate more tightly to fully deliver our UXP vision. We’re glad to welcome Piyush and are truly looking forward to his contribution to Jahia’s management, business development and solutions”.
Piyush will have the responsibility to develop strategic partnerships with key digital agencies and major system integrators in expanding Jahia’s ability to delivery on customer value. Piyush will also oversee the global technology partnerships with strategic software providers to accelerate the development of the ecosystem of connectors and integration which are at the core of the UXP benefits for Jahia’s customers.
Over the last twenty years, Piyush has served in global leadership roles, growing alliances, verticals, and key business areas for companies such as Epicentric, Vignette, SapientNitro and OpenText.
Emmanuel Garcin added, Piyush’s experience will undoubtedly accelerate our development and visibility not only in North America, but globally. His business acumen, global network and deep knowledge of our industry is what Jahia needs to truly deliver its value”.

Piyush Patel brings over 20 years of experience across the space of digital platform technology and delivery to help clients achieve successful outcomes to drive collaborative innovation and results. His most recent role was in working with a key global investment bank Bryan Garnier & Co to help identify disruptive technologies which would drive exponential growth. Previously he was working to help reshape the global alliances strategy and approach across all business units and product lines for the OpenText.
Prior to his role with OpenText, Piyush helped to grow a rapidly expanding practice focused on integrated experience delivery platforms for global digital agency SapientNitro where he drove successful partnerships helping SapientNitro to be recognized as a top Agency amongst it’s software partners. Piyush was an early member and creator of the training and services organization of a leading portal product firm Epicentric (acquired by Vignette). Previous roles include work with Cap Gemini, Red Sky Interactive, NextBrick Solutions, US Robotics.
